Whilst browsing through one of our earlier websites as the 4th anniversary of losing our beloved Heathcliffe approaches, we found some of his old web-pages so have included them on this site in his memory. Heathcliffe was the most special bunny you could ever hope to meet and, although he died several years ago, he is not forgotten - and never will be..... (Please note: The photos were taken in the early days of digital cameras and don't really do justice to the boy!) Heathcliffe's Fan Club has now closed. (although many membership cards are still carried in his memory) Heathcliffe's words (behind his mum's back): "For a long time I have been receiving much-deserved, admiring messages from my fans across the UK but have granted only a lucky few my Ultimate Accolade of Membership of my Official Fan Club. However, as this does not meet the growing demand, I am considering extending membership world-wide to everyone who loves and admires me. I am my mummy's favourite boy, a handsome hunk who goes everywhere with her (apart from when I have to nip to the Gents). Sometimes she calls me vain and self-obsessed but I'm not - when a young man is as handsome as my good self, then it is only natural to wish to preserve one's good looks. I check mine several times per hour just to ensure I'm always looking my best and I am always very pleased to report that - I am! To ensure I have the best possible diet and attention at all times, almost every visitor to the house (some pretend they're visiting the humans but I know better...) brings a little treat - milk drops, toys, a bell, more toys, carrots etc for me and I allow them to feed or play with me, as appropriate. The only condition is that my fur must not become ruffled or I might get cross.
The membership fee for my Official Fan Club is only £5.00 per year (which helps fund just some of my fur-care accessories, grooming aids and mirrors). For this, you will receive a credit-card sized Membership Card, featuring my handsome profile and good looks, and this can be carried wherever you go. With such a Card, no other membership benefits are required or available. Must go now and admire my handsome reflection again..... Oooooooohhh! Wow - I'm even more gorgeous!! Aaaaaarrrggghhh!! <<PANIC!>> Mummy's coming! I must hide away quickly before she sees what I've added to her site..... sometimes the Humans just don't understand.... Heathy-Boy XXXX Ooooh! That reminds me - I must have a word with mummy about my merchandising arrangements - posters, wallcharts, mugs, tea towels, place mats, coasters, T-shirts, sweatshirts and then there's my CD 'Grunt in Time' to record. I must recruit a manager.... |
